Elias and I are extremely proud to say Rio's Brazilian has made it three years.
There's no way we could do it without the amazing support of family, friends, and the Austin community. Your words of encouragement have gotten us through some dark hours, and helped to strengthen our resolve to make our business a success.
Thank you, Austin for three great years! We are looking forward to many more to come!

We're humbled to be written about like these two writers, Marsha Mann of Insite Magazine, and Brant Croucher of Envy Magazine, have done. (The photos are awesome, too!)
In the June issue of Insite Magazine: "Elias has developed his own version of Brazilian cuisine that taps into the best romantic images of Rio: a land of carnival, samba, and spectacular beaches...sweet, salty, spicy, hot, exotic and satisfying."
In the September issue of Envy Magazine: "Start the tour de Brazil by snacking on the deliciously chewy and fluffy Pao de Queijo (cheese bread), which is all natural, gluten- and sugar-free. Amazed? Pick some up from your local grocer for your next party; it's pop-in frozen, pull-out fun."

Last, but certainly not least, Elias and I are proud to host Daniel Webb, aka Piano Dora, at The Vintage Lounge for two performances; Tuesday, September 15, and Thursday, October 1, both from 8pm to 10pm.
Daniel is a well-known performer in Austin. We're proud to be his friend, and lucky to have the chance to share his talent with others. www.pianodora.com/

We're so happy to tell everyone that Rio's Brazilian now has a permanent home.
We've made an excellent arrangement with Wesam Chtay and Christopher Watters, owners of The Vintage Lounge, to use their kitchen as our permanent home, while also selling Rio's Brazilian through the lounge every Tuesday through Saturday, from 4pm to 10pm.
The Vintage Lounge is a new night spot located on Trinity between 5th and 6th streets, just down the street from Eddie V's, the Austin Convention Center, and the Hilton Hotel. We're next to the Coppertank at 504 Trinity Street.
Rio's Brazilian serves appetizers including our salgadinhos such as Kibe, Risoli de Frango, and our gluten-free Yuca-root pastry, Bolinho de Aipim. We're also serving full dinners like the traditional Estrogonofe de Frango, as well as soups, salads and desserts.
The Vintage Lounge makes caipirinhas (the right way) and many other fabulous cocktails, including the "Malaguetini," our take on a spicy Bloody Mary martini using Rio's Original Malagueta.
